Conditioning exercises are split into two categories: Anaerobic and Aerobic.
Anaerobic exercises increase speed, power, and muscles mass. These movements achieve a high calorie burn and they’re performed in quick bursts with periods of rest in between.
Common anaerobic exercises include plyometrics (jumping), interval training, isometrics (build up of mechanical tension), and sprints.
Aerobic exercises are sustained movements that increase endurance and cardiovascular capacity. Some typical exercises include running cycling, and swimming.
