MAR

March is Women’s History Awareness Month! So we thought, why not try and support a local organization that supports and empowers young women to get active, believe in themselves and improve their beliefs, attitudes and behaviors about Physical Activity.

To that end, we are collecting donations to help A-Team become a purple level sponsor ($2,500) for The Bay Area Women’s Sports Initiative (BAWSI) spring gala taking place on May 7th, 2021. connect with Alesha for instructions on how to donate. Even if we don’t get the purple level sponsorship - anything we collect we will send their way!

As with many business’, BBA has found itself not as profitable as it would have otherwise been. Our wonderful gym would benefit greately in the short and long term from some outdoor equipment - such as a Rouge Rig. Our goal is to raise $4000, and A-Team will put in $1000 by the end of March 2021.

Want to help? Email us or send money using PayPal to donate!

Knowing that there are many in our community who are suffering a grate deal, thanksgiving is a time to be grateful for all that we have. The economic crisis created by the pandemic has pushed many families deeper into poverty and caused others to seek food assistance for the very first time. Anyone who needs a healthy meal should be able to get one.

Join Second Harvest of Silicon Valley’s community of supporters to help provide food to an average of 500,000 people in Santa Clara and San Mateo counties each month — double the number of neighbors served in February.

Donate by November 25th and your gift will be eligible to be matched $1 for $1 by Second Harvest supporters up to $1 million.

In October, A-Team teamed up with with Women Rising Above Abuse - a nonprofit organization that is set out to empower, strength and uplift those that have suffered from abuse - focusing on Domestic Violence .

A-team was able to collect enough funds to donate two twin mattresses, one full mattress, a fire exinguisher, a work calendar and over $400 in safeway food gift cards.

At a time of great uncertainty, those of us living through domestic violence should still have access to great health and fitness options. For the month of October, staff and patrons of another non-profit serving these individuals - CORA - will had access to A-Team’s virtual bootcamps.
